Marketing & Comms processes your personal data. Here we explain how we ensure fair and transparent processing of personal data.

Our data processing is characterized by only processing personal data for specific purposes, based on legitimate interests. We only process personal data that is relevant and necessary to fulfill the specified purposes, and we delete your information when it is no longer needed.

What you need to know about our processing of your personal data:

  • Marketing & Comms AS is responsible for the processing of personal data we receive from you.
  • The purpose of processing your personal data is to deliver our goods and services to you and your company, and to keep you informed about news, features, and product opportunities, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation article 5(1)(b).
  • The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is your consent, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(a), and/or the performance of a contract/order, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(b), and/or to fulfill a legal obligation, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(c), and/or the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject override the protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(f). The legitimate interests justifying the processing are the marketing of new services/products.
  • The categories of information we store are generally ordinary (e.g. name, address), but can also be sensitive (e.g. political opinions).
  • We have received personal information from you and potentially from publicly available sources.
  • The information collected is not stored for longer than is required by law or is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • We do not use personal profiling to make automated decisions that significantly affect a person’s rights and freedoms.

  • You have the right to access and edit your data, i.e. you can at any time request to see your personal information and correct inaccurate information or supplement it.
  • You have the right to request deletion, i.e. you can have your personal information deleted, unless we consider it necessary to keep them for a longer period for accounting or legal reasons. The information will be deleted at the latest when any proprietary claims have expired.
  • You have the right to complain, i.e. in certain cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
  • You have the right to object, meaning that you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, for example if you believe that our processing of the information is not lawful.
  • You have the right to data portability. This means that you can at any time retrieve or have the information sent to you.
